Terms of Content Use
The rules for using theeasygrader.com and its calculators — what you are free to do, what you are not, and what we do and do not promise about the results.
The short version
- Free to use, including in your classroom. Teachers, students and parents can use every calculator as much as they like, at no cost.
- Do not copy the site or resell the tools. The code, design and written guides belong to us.
- Results are a calculation, not an official grade. Your school’s gradebook always wins.
- Use it at your own risk. We check our formulas carefully, but we cannot be liable for what you do with a number.

Accepting these terms
These Terms of Content Use are an agreement between you and the operator of theeasygrader.com. By opening the site, using any calculator or reading any guide, you accept them. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms and explains how data is handled.
In this document, “the site” means theeasygrader.com and everything published on it; “the tools” means the calculators; and “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator named in the next section.
Who operates this site
theeasygrader.com is owned and operated by WorkflowDay, an automation and web development studio. All rights and obligations described in these terms belong to WorkflowDay.
What you may do
Without asking us for anything, you may:
- Use every calculator on the site, as often as you want, for free.
- Use the results in your own work — grading your class, planning your semester, checking your child’s report card.
- Link to any page on the site from a blog, a school website, a syllabus, a forum post or a social media post.
- Quote a short passage from a guide with clear credit and a link back to the page you took it from.
- Take a screenshot of a calculator to show someone how to use it, or to include in teaching material or a tutorial.
Classroom and school use
Teachers and schools may use the calculators for ordinary classroom and administrative work, including grading student assessments, projecting a calculator on a board during a lesson, and pointing students at the site from a syllabus or learning platform. No licence or permission request is needed for any of that.
What this permission does not cover is embedding our tools inside your own platform, redistributing our code, or presenting the site as your institution’s own service. For anything of that kind, write to us first.
Please also note that the site carries third-party advertising. Institutions with policies about ad-supported websites should review those policies before directing pupils here.
What you may not do
You agree not to:
- Copy, republish or mirror the site, its calculators, its code or its written guides, in whole or in substantial part, anywhere else.
- Sell, licence, rent or otherwise commercially exploit any part of the site without our prior written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or extract our calculator code to build a competing tool.
- Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site using automated means beyond ordinary search engine indexing, or place unreasonable load on our servers.
- Frame or embed the tools in another website or application so they appear to be part of that service.
- Remove or obscure our branding, credits or copyright notices.
- Interfere with the site’s security or operation, including attempting unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, or probing for vulnerabilities.
- Use the site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to falsify an academic record.
- Interfere with the advertising on the site, including generating invalid ad activity or clicks.
If you want to do something these terms do not allow, ask. We answer licensing and partnership emails, and the answer is often yes.
Intellectual property
All content on the site — the calculator code, page layouts, design, styling, logos, brand name, written guides, examples and images — is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the site as described in “What you may do” above. No other rights are transferred. Anything not expressly permitted here is reserved.
Standard mathematical formulas and published grading scales are not owned by anybody, including us. Our expression of them — our code, our wording, our explanations — is.
Accuracy of results
We test each calculator against worked examples before it goes live and re-check it whenever the code changes. Even so, please understand what a result is:
- A calculation of the numbers you entered, and nothing more. Enter the wrong figure and you get the wrong answer.
- Based on the standard US A–F scale by default, which your school may not use. Your syllabus and your school’s rounding rules take priority over ours in every case.
- Not an official grade. We are not a school, an examining body or a grading service. We hold no student records and cannot see, change or submit anyone’s official grades.
Always confirm anything important against your institution’s own gradebook before acting on it. If you spot a result that looks wrong, tell us — corrections are usually published within the week.
Not academic or professional advice
The calculators and guides are provided for general educational and informational purposes. They are not academic counselling, admissions advice, or professional advice of any kind, and they do not create any advisory relationship between you and us. Decisions about courses, exams, admissions or employment should be made with your school, your advisor, or the relevant institution.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and the tools are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that results will meet your requirements, or that defects will be corrected. Your use of the site is at your own risk.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, academic standing or opportunity, arising out of or connected with your use of, or inability to use, the site — whether the claim is based in contract, tort, negligence or any other theory, and whether or not we were advised such damages were possible.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us to use it (which is zero) or USD 50.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WorkflowDay and the people who operate this site from any claim, demand, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Third-party links and advertising
The site displays advertising and may link to other websites. Those sites are not operated or controlled by us. We are not responsible for their content, products, policies or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
Once you leave theeasygrader.com, the terms and privacy policy of the destination site apply, not ours. Any dealings you have with a third party, including an advertiser, are strictly between you and them.
Google AdSense
Advertising on this site is served through Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and to other sites on the internet. By using the site you acknowledge this.
You can switch off personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Our Privacy Policy sets out the full detail of the cookies used, what Google receives, and every opt-out route available to you.
Deliberately generating invalid ad impressions or clicks — your own or anyone else’s — is a breach of these terms and of Google’s policies.
Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, email us at theeasygrader.com@gmail.com with the page URL, a description of the work you say has been copied, proof that you own or represent the rights, and your contact details. We investigate every notice and remove infringing material promptly where a claim is valid.
Availability and termination
We may change, suspend, add or remove any calculator, guide or feature at any time, and may take the site offline for maintenance or for good. We are not obliged to keep any particular tool available.
We may also restrict or block access for anyone who breaches these terms. Because no account is required to use the site, blocking is normally technical rather than personal.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes or as the law does. The current version is always published on this page, and the “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms, so it is worth checking this page occasionally.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of your own country.
General provisions
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest of these terms remain in force.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision on one occasion, we do not give up the right to enforce it later.
- Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy make up the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours if the site changes ownership.
- Language. These terms are written in English, and the English version prevails over any translation.
